Georgia is the birthplace of wine culture. For thousands of years, Georgian people have cultivated vines with passion and dedication, turning winemaking into a true art and a symbol of the country's culture and traditions.
Zechariah Jorjadze purchased land in the village of Eniseli and built a wine plant, laying the foundation for the future development of the winery.
The winery inherited the traditions and secrets of Georgian winemaking passed down through generations.
The creators of Marniskari continued the work of their ancestors, introducing traditional Georgian wines to both local and international consumers.
Viticulture is an art in Georgia. For centuries Georgians have cared for their vines with devotion throughout the year until the autumn harvest season known as Rtveli, when grapes are collected.
The Kakheti region is considered the cradle of Georgian wine culture. Along the Alazani River stretches the famous Alazani Valley, where well-known Georgian wines such as Kindzmarauli, Akhasheni, Tsinandali and Mukuzani are produced.
It is here, in the villages of Sabue and Eniseli, where the production facilities of the Marniskari company are located.

Marniskari owns vineyards in several regions of Georgia and cultivates exclusively Georgian grape varieties. The production facilities can process up to 2,500 tons of grapes, while the modern Italian production line can fill up to 3,000 bottles per hour.
The factory restored a 200-year-old wine cellar that contains 120 traditional kvevri.
Some wines require special aging conditions. For example, Mukuzani wine is aged in large oak barrels, which give the wine a distinctive aroma and complex flavor.

Today the winery produces:
Produced from grape varieties such as: Saperavi, Rkatsiteli, Mtsvane and Ojaleshi
The company also produces wines with controlled appellation of origin including: Mukuzani, Kindzmarauli, Khvanchkara, Tsinandali, Ojaleshi and Akhasheni.
